The Wedding Professionals of Las Vegas is an organization of wedding service providers whose mission is to be the industry authority on Las Vegas weddings.

WPLV membership provides:
	A solid network of leading and respected professional wedding vendors to promote its members to one another and to the bridal couple planning a wedding in Las Vegas (networking and referrals).
	Educational programs for WPLV members to enhance their professionalism, and to provide knowledge about effective business practices, and other wedding services.
	A commitment to a high code of ethics that establishes a spirit of collaboration and healthy competition among members who perform the same category of service.
	Opportunities for industry leadership through committee and board of director involvement.
	Educational programs for brides and couples that help them prepare for their wedding.
	Free website listing on WPLV.com Las Vegas's Premiere Wedding Directory.
	Monthly bridal leads and other incentive programs
	An organization that uses its influence and resources to benefit the community beyond the wedding industry.
	A social outlet for its members outside the realm of the wedding-related business.

WPLV membership process:

Annual membership is $125 Individual and $325 for a Corporate membership. Members must comply with WPLV's code of ethics and have all required state and local licenses. To receive full benefit from the membership in WPLV, we recommend (among other things) regular attendance and participation at either the Monthly General Membership Meetings, the Quarterly Socials, or, as a Chair on the Board of Directors. This is so our members may come to know you and feel comfortable referring brides to you.

Invited guests are allowed attendance at the non-member rate.

Applications must be signed by two current WPLV members (meet them at the General Membership meetings), and be submitted with:
	A resume or one paragraph bio that describes you and your business
	A copy of your company's occupational license
	Your State tax number and current certificate (if applicable).

Incomplete applications will delay the process. Applications are available as a pdf online, or at every WPLV meeting, or by calling the office at 792.2378. Code of Ethics

	To collectively promote the advancement of the wedding industry.
	To increase professional growth and knowledge of the association and its industry by giving unbiased support to all members and their clients.
	Maintain the highest standards of professionalism at all times.
	Promote and maintain good business skills and ethics at all times. To represent each client fairly. To provide timely, quality service and setting reasonable and proper fees for services. Advertising must be honest and factual.
	Practice professional integrity.
	Sustain a positive and professional attitude in all business relationships.
	Manage a business that is honorable to WPLV.
	Members shall conduct themselves and their professional activities in conformance with the laws of the land and meet all state licensing and insurance requirements.
	Members shall not engage in activities harmful to the purpose of WPLV, nor use their position in the association to exploit their personal views.
